Eva C. Hancock, 67, of Adel, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Lowndes County on January 15, 1938 to the late John Henry and Beulah Mae Register Crump. Ms. Hancock was a retired school teacher and was a Baptist.
She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Darryl and Wendy Hancock of Hahira, two granddaughters, Savannah Allison Hancock and Lidia Kay Franklin, one sister, Louise Taylor of Hahira, two brothers and sisters in law, Johnny and Libby Crump of Albany and Felton and Joyce Crump of Knoxville, TN, one niece, Twyla McCree, four nephews, John Calvin Crump, Ronny Crump, Dale Crump and Terry Crump.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at three p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home with Reverend David Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
