Euradean (Dean) Jones

Euradean (Dean) Jones, 78, of Valdosta, died Monday, December 14, 2015 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Tennessee on October 10, 1937 to the late John Abbott Dorris and Dewey Dorris. Mrs. Jones worked for the late Dr. Jerry Purvis and was retired from South Georgia Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Cornelius (Kenny Harris) of Valdosta, her son, Jeff Jones (Peggy) of Waycross, her daughter, Stacy Jones-Boggs (Robert Boggs III) of Nichols, grandchildren, Thomas Perdue, Allison Cornelius (Guy Adams), Matt Jones, Alex Jones, Britton Jones, Schuyler Kenzel, Dilan Boggs and Dustin Boggs, one great grandson, Noah Adams, two sisters, Betty Hovator and Clara Bell Payton, one brother, James Dorris (Ruth) all of Tennessee. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Browning Jones, brother, Eugene Dorris and sister, Sandra Dorris.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at three p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from two until three p. m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
