Eunice Wade Williams

Eunice Wade Williams, 86, of Valdosta died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Fellowship Home. She was born on February 9, 1921 in Lake Park to the late William Hannibal and Estelle Carter Wade and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Christian Church and retired from sales at Sears.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, J. Kenneth and Becky Flythe of Valdosta, stepson and stepdaughter in law, Clark B., Jr. and Celia Williams of Lizella, stepdaughters and stepsons in law, Doris and Alfred Scott of Peoria, AZ. and Jane and C. W. Kirby of Merrimack, NH., three grandchildren, Dale Keith and Teresa Flythe, Mark Allen and Penny Flythe and Deidra Flythe DiPietro, five great grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, one brother, Arthur Wade of West Palm Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark B. Williams, Sr., a son, John Wade Flythe, her former husband, James Edward Flythe, two brothers, Carter Wade and Pierce Wade and a half sister, Ina Golden.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Monday, June 11, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
