Eugenia Gwendolyn Cherie Morris

Eugenia Gwendolyn Cherie Morris, 49, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1955, in Macon, to the late Howard and Ada Lou Powell Meeks. Mrs. Morris worked at Bishop Cleaners for twenty-eight years. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and was a member of the Ladies Bible Study Class.

Survivors include her husband, Perry Woodrow Morris, Sr., of Valdosta; daughter and son in law, Amanda and Andrew Metzler, of Valdosta; son, Perry Morris, Jr., of Valdosta; sister and brother in law, Gina and Phil Posey, of Macon and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005, in the Chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.
