Eugene Edward Wilder

Eugene Edward Wilder, 74, of Lake Park, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at his home. Eugene was born on July 13, 1943 in Booneville, KY to the late Hobert and Minnie Rice Wilder. He was commissioned a Kentucky colonel by the governor of the state which is the highest honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Eugene loved the Lord, family and being outdoors. His favorite hobby was fishing. He was a member of Francis Lake Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Aliene Burton Wilder of Lake Park, his sons Byron (Jo Ellen) Wilder of Dasher, and Landon Craig Wilder of Valdosta, and his grandsons, Michael Todd Wilder and Matthew Cole Wilder, and a special brother-in-law Randall Burton.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Francis Lake Baptist Church at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Eldridge Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Park Cemetery.
