Ethelle Frier

Ethelle Frier, 77, of Hahira died Monday, February 29, 2016 at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, AL. She was born on April 5, 1938 in Cook County, GA to the late Aulie Terrell Carter, Sr. and Sampie Lou Bennett Carter. Mrs. Frier was retired from South GA Medical Center and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Frier of Hahira, daughter and son in law, Catherine and Dr. Rajesh Patel of Eufaula, AL, sons and daughters in law, Joe and Cynthia Harris of Hahira and Michel and Patricia Harris of Edmond, OK, nine grandchildren, Loduska Kirchner (Kris), Vilas Patel, Misti Davis, Liza Garduno, Eric Harris (Megan), Caleb Harris (Heather), Angela Shelton (Wes), Danny Harris (Nikki) and Dr. Kathryn Deaton (Robert), twenty one great grandchildren, sisters and brothers in law, Louelle and Donald Bass of Hahira, Linda and James Nelson of Marianna, FL and sister in law, Betty Carter of Lake Placid, FL. Mrs. Frier is predeceased by her parents, son, Roy Harris, great grandson, Hunter Shane Davis, grandson in law, Luke Garduno, sisters and brothers in law, Elouise and Bill Slaughter, Helen and Reverend Bobby Frier, Louise and Mack Chancey and brother, Aulie Terrell Carter, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2015 at two p. m.at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
