Essie Tomlinson Moore, 95, of Lake Park passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the South Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born on November 25, 1916 in Stockton, Georgia to the late Harris and Laura Davis Tomlinson and had been a resident of this area all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Milton Sellars of Valdosta; two grandsons and their spouses, Tim and Linda Sellars and Kevin and Lisa Sellars all of Valdosta; five great-grandchildren, Cara , Cole and Abby Sellars and Joan and Kathryn Kringle; a sister-in-law, Willie Mae Tomlinson of Lake Park; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Herman Terrell and Louise Moore.
A graveside service for Essie Moore will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Dwight Marshall officiating.
