Ernest Francis Vanlandeghem, 73, of Barney died Monday, June 27, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada on July 28, 1931 to the late Frank Henry and Caroline Ann Sloan Vanlandeghem. Mr. Vanlandeghem was a retired tool and die maker for General Motors, was a veteran and was a Catholic. He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Bella Lacounte Vanlandeghem.
Mr. Vanlandeghem is survived by two daughters, Tracy Noland of Barney, Connie Norman of Mount Clemens, Michigan, two sons, Henry Vanlandeghem of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Danny Vanlandeghem of Mount Clemens, Michigan, eight grandchildren, Virginia Rose Harrell, Dylan Ryan Noland, Adam John Tate II, Constance Ann Tate, Rachel Vanlandeghem, Daniel Vanlandeghem, Owen Vanlandeghem, Robert Ryan Foster, one sister, Dorothy Sloan of Laporte, TX and best friend, Mike Fisette of Barney.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at four p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Rev. Skip Van Nus officiating. Mr. Vanlandeghem will be cremated. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
