Emmogene Lamb Skaggs

Emmogene Lamb Skaggs, 67, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at her residence. Born on April 20, 1940 in Madison, FL to William and Louella Lamb. She was employed by Parkwood Developmental Center and was a member of Rosedale Church of God.<br><br>She is survived by her husband, Lester Skaggs of Valdosta; daughters, Marchetta Touchton of Perry, FL and Lisa Humphrey of Madison, FL; son, Chris Gianino of Perry, FL; mother, Louella Walker Lamb, sister, Ermaogene Chaney both of Madison, FL; sister, Gladys Ferrell of Thomasville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, William Lamb; daughter, Linda Jean Strickland; son in law, Keith Touchton; grandson, Michael Humphrey, Sr.<br><br>Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Maxie Williams officiating. The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday with Pastor Preston Gainey officiating at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Madison, FL.
