Emma C. Walker

Emma C. Walker, 99, of Valdosta died Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Lakeland Villas in Lakeland. She was born in Norcross, Georgia on June 18, 1918 to the late William H. and Irma Brown Ingram. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved fishing, gardening her flowers and her cats and dogs.
Survivors include three daughters and a son in law, Edith Marie and Robert, Sr., Copeland of Titusville, FL, Beverly Jean Westberry of Panama City Beach, FL, Linda Jane Hampton of Lake Park, GA; two sons and daughters in law, William G., Jr and Diane Walker, Robert Q. and Kathy Walker all of Valdosta; 13-grandchildren, 12-great grandchildren and 1-great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons in law, Archie Hampton and Bobby Westberry.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Musgrove and Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10am-11am at the funeral home.
