Emily Teasley

Emily Teasley, 88, of Valdosta died March 17, 2008 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born on January 26, 1920 in Valdosta, she was the daughter of the late Julian Edward and Jesse Cannafax Tudor. Mrs. Teasley was a homemaker and a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Hunt Southerland of Tampa, FL; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Teasley of Valdosta, Chris Teasley of Atlanta and Mike and Heather Teasley of Lancaster, SC; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Boots and Pat Tudor of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Joel Hunt Teasley.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. Peter Ingeman officiating. The burial will follow in the church urn garden.
