Emily Rachel Strickland

Emily Rachel Strickland, 64, of Remerton, passed on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Syracuse, New York, on March 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Molly Silverstein. Mrs. Strickland was of the Jewish faith. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Jim Strickland of Remerton; daughter and son in law, Teresa and Jason Baker of Kellen, Texas; son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Kathy Strickland of Valdosta; seven grandchildren.
