Elva L. Nelson

Elva L. Nelson, 77 of Bedford, TX formerly of Valdosta, died on Sunday, April 25, 2005. Born on August 15, 1927 in Mill City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Montell and Ethel Lewis Clark and the widow of Burel Nelson. Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and a member of Bemiss United Methodist Church. She was involved in the Walk to Emmaus.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sharon Nelson of Grapevine, TX; a daughter, Barbara Boatright of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two grandchildren, Lindsey Nelson and Hannah Nelson, both of Grapevine, TX; and two sisters, Gladys Trauger and Hazel Williams both of Factoryville, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Bemiss United Methodist Church with Reverend Bob Shell officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 12 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
