Eloise Woodward Mcmullen

Eloise Woodard McMullen, 77, of Lake Park, died on Monday, April 18, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Lee, FL to the late Walter Kelly & Annie Thelma Wells Woodard and her late stepmother Pearl Downing Woodard. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She also worked with Southern Bell and Lowndes County DFACS. She was a Christian and a member of the Lake Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph K. McMullen, Jr., two sons, Kenneth Woodard McMullen, Robert Michael McMullen, and a daughter, Susan Lorraine McMullen, all of Valdosta; three granddaughters, Jane Elizabeth Anderson, of Charleston, S.C., Jessica Leigh (Myron) Crowe, of Hahira and Michelle McMullen (Phillip) Storey, of Jacksonville, FL; a grandson, Michael Joseph McMullen, of Valdosta, a great grandson, Ashton Bradley Anderson, of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Mavis Buchanan, of Pinetta, FL and Gail (Ernest) Hendricks of Cherry Lake, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. McMullen was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Ragans, Ruth Payne, Mildred Harrell and Eva Beth Woodard and a brother, Walter Downing Woodard.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Dasher Cemetery in Dasher, GA at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2005. Mr. J.C. McMullen and Mr. Evans McMullen will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dasher Cemetery Maintenance Fund, P.O. Box 945, Lake Park, GA 31636.
