Eloise Warren Stone

Eloise Warren Stone, 78, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Lakehaven NursingHome. Born in Ray City, on November 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Willie D. and Mattie Selph Warren. Mrs. Stone was a sales associate with Belk's and enjoyed working as a Greeter at Walmart for many years. A member of Northside Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, Eloise was formerly an active member at Morningside Baptist Church, sharing her talents in the nursery, the kitchen, driving the bus and singing in the choir.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Wilburn Stone, Eloise is survived by her children, Diane and Leon Johnson of Stockton, David Stone of Valdosta, John Stone of Valdosta; grandchildren and their spouses, Libby and Brad Bennett of Nashville, Jason and Ali Johnson of Stockton, Brooke and John Denver Roberts of Stockton, Brittany and Ben Robbins of Cordele, Carly Stone; great grandchildren, Jacob and Levi Bennett, Emma and Gracie Johnson, Bailey and Kendal Roberts; sister, Goldie (Richard) Dunlap of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Carly's three children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at eleven a.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
