Eloise Frances Ray

Eloise Ray, 93, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at her residence in Langdale Place. She was born on August 6, 1912 in Area, Illinois. Mrs. Ray was a homemaker, a member of Community Protestant Church in Mundelein, Illinois and First Christian Church of Valdosta, a member of Fort Hill Historical Society and a member of Mundelein Senior Center. Her husband, Stanley Dean Ray preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Richard and Kay Ray of Hahira, one daughter and son in law, Barbara and Bill Spence of Charleston, SC, grandchildren, Greg and Lynn Whipple, Bob and Teresa Whipple, Richard Ray, Jr., Hannah and Matthew Abbott, Jayme Ray, four great grandchildren, one sister, Ruth Williams of Libertyville, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2005 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Milton West officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Warren Township-Gurney Cemetery near Libertyville, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Christian Church or to Langdale Place.
