Ellen Marie Wood

Ellen Marie Wood, 88, of Orlando, went to her heavenly home on Friday, April 28, 2023. Born in Valdosta, GA on October 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Colie and Pauline Touchton, and moved to Central Florida in the early 1950’s. Ellen was a faithful woman who loved the Lord and her family.

Ellen is survived by her son, Kenneth L. (Magdalena) Wood, Apopka, FL; 2 daughters, Kathy (Wendell) Ulmer, Apopka, FL, Kimberly (Roland) Savoy, Apopka, FL; 2 sisters, Myrle Robinson, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Judy Williams, Valdosta, GA; 5 grandchildren, Chelsea, Stefanie, Matthew, Brittany, and Bethany and 11 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Aiden, Camden, Parker, Annebella (Gracie), Everett, Leo, Savannah, Jasmyn, and Isabel. 

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Copeland Cemetery.
