Ella Bunell Mann Clark

Ella "Nell" Bunell Mann Clark, 91, of Valdosta, went peacefully to sleep on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 following a period of declining health. She was born on February 11, 1919 in Surrency Georgia to the late Walter P. and Sallie Tyre Mann. She moved to Savannah where she met and married Joseph Fred Clark in 1937. They moved to Valdosta in 1944 where she was a devoted mother, homemaker and gardener. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Surrrency Georgia.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lonna and Buddy Chapman; a granddaughter and her husband, April and Robin Wright and two great-grandchildren, Lane and Ella Wright all of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fred Clark.

Services for "Nell" Clark will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
