Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Thompson, 94, of Valdosta passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, GA. She was born in Marshallville, GA on April 20, 1924 to the late O’Neill Monroe Ware and Lillian Mabel Patterson Ware. Mrs. Thompson was a Librarian for the Berrien County Schools, a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and the Senior Lady Sunday school class and a member of the Quitman Garden Club.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, Michael and Nan Thompson of Valdosta, Don and Carol Thompson of Quitman, four grandchildren, Kris Thompson (Stacy), Blake Thompson (Mallory), Hannah Penn (Adam) and Alex Thompson (Allie), eight great grandchildren, Molly, Olivia and Grady Penn, Emery, Libby, Aiden, Kevin and Nolan Thompson. Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Kenneth Thompson, son, James Kenneth Thompson, Jr., grandson, Kevin Michael Thompson and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at eleven a. m. at Crossroads Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Alford and Reverend Earl Justice officiating.
