Elizabeth Hilda Joyner Cookson

Elizabeth Hilda Joyner Cookson, 94, of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on January 26, 1925 in Madras, India to the late Richard Sidney Joyner and Violet Maud Joyner (nee Gilmour). Mrs. Cookson was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cookson of Ricksmanworth, England; her grandsons, Steven Cookson and Andrew Cookson both of Ricksmanworth, England; a great-grandson, Dayton Cookson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Cookson, and her son, John Michael Cookson.
