Elizabeth Dexter Molder, 98, of Valdosta, Georgia and formerly of Albany, Georgia and Athens, Georgia, died August 14, 2006 at the Langdale Place in Valdosta after declining health. She was born in Columbus, Georgia on September 17, 1907 and was the daughter of Eloise and MacDougald Dexter. She married James Minter (Josh) Molder on October 4, 1930. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Valdosta and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Albany for many years.
Survivors are daughter Eloise and son-in-law Cody Smith of Valdosta, daughter Jane Powell of Bainbridge and daughter Edith and son-in-law Edward Lummus of Atlanta. She is also survived by her sister Frances Foley, 97, of Norfolk, VA, ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Frances Elizabeth and her husband, Josh.
A memorial service for Mrs. Molder will be at Christ Episcopal Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006 with the Reverend Peter Ingeman officiating. Visitation will be in the Parish Hall following the memorial service. Burial will be in Columbus, Georgia at a later date. Memorials l may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 1521 N.
