Elizabeth Boone Bell Godwin of Valdosta, Georgia, (resident of Presbyterian Home in Quitman for the last 11 years) died on Sunday, January 2, 2005. She was born on April 26, 1910 to William Boone Bell and Minnie Clyde Toler Bell. She was the widow of Owen H. Godwin, who died in 1976. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by two stepsons, Will and Jim Godwin, six step grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Especially close to her and responsible for her care for many years were a great niece by marriage and her husband, Sandra and Paul Sumner, and fellow church members, neighbors, and dear friends, Florence and Lamar Cole. She was a long-time, faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Valdosta. This beautiful soul was blessed with remarkable artistic talent, a keen wit and a wonderful sense of humor, a steadfast love of family and friends, and most importantly a lifelong love and trust in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she joins now in her Heavenly home. There will be a graveside service conducted by the Reverend Don Stanley, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Valdosta at Sunset Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Break Bread Together, c/o First Presbyterian Church, P.O.
