Elijah Lee Hammonds, 15 month old son of Kelly Courson and Charles Hammonds, went to get his butt patted by Jesus on Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was born October 18, 2013 in Valdosta.
In addition to his parents, Elijah is survived by one brother, Zane Watson; one sister, Selah Courson; grandfather, Busby Courson; step-grandfather, Thomas Harper; great-grandmother, Joanne Zipperer; and two uncles, Eric McCallum and Chance Courson.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 pm Saturday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
