Elese Trammell Faircloth Flynt, 86, of Hahira died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Fellowship Home. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Redden D. and Ruby Poitevint Trammell. Mrs. Flynt was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church where she served as secretary for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Mrs. Flynt loved spending time with her family and visiting people who were confined to home.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Sandi and Harry Skoropat of Valdosta, Phillip Faircloth of Donalsville, GA, Janet Flynt Powers and Roger Powers of Gainesville, GA, Sandra Flynt McKinney and Lonnie McKinney of Cordele, GA, Richard Addison (Ricky), Jr. and Sherry Flynt of Johns Creek, GA; her grandchildren, Kristy (Will) Bible, Wade (Dawn) Faircloth, Brooke (Shannon) Vickers, Joe Franklin Faircloth, Jason (Amy) Powers, Lyle McKinney, Stuart McKinney, Zack (Ashley) McKinney, Kristyn (Zack) Brunson, Lynsay Flynt, Makenzie Flynt, Heather Williams, Jennifer McCranie, 17-great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother in law, Annette Taylor of Chattahoochee, GA, Nancy and Maury White of Faceville, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Franklin Faircloth and Richard Addison (Dick) Flynt, Sr., an infant son, a daughter, Paula Flynt Jasso, one sister, Mildred Pollock and three brothers, Carey Trammell, Russell Trammell and Alvin Trammell.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Hahira First Baptist Church with Rev. David Gordon, Mr. Brant Lindsey and Mr. Lewis Register officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10am until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Camilla, GA.
