Elaine Copeland Hodges, 69, of Hahira, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2012, at Lakehaven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 27, 1943 in Hahira, the daughter of the late Norvell Lawrence and Doris Virginia Folsom Futch. She was retired as a Medical Technologist with Berrien county Hospital and a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Lyn Williams (Jesse) of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Lyle Copeland (Beth) of Valdosta; Maxwell Copeland (Laura) Hahira; eleven grandchildren, Joshua Lyle Copeland, Cheryl Crosby Conners, Ansley Copeland, Brittany Copeland, Dillon Williams, Jesse Williams, Jr., Denise Williams Ledford, Taylor Copeland, Tori Copeland, Tyler Lee, and Caton Lee, five great-grand children, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen Tomlinson (Dennis) of Hahira; and Deborah Tillman (Greg) of Hahira and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her husbands Bill Copeland, and Thomas Hodges and one grand-daughter Aubrey Cooper.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Forrest Park Church of Christ, with Mr. Ray Joyner, and Mr. Bill Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
