Edward Trancygier

Edward Trancygier, 76, of Lake Park died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on October 26, 1939 to the late Adolph and Agnes Torolski Trancygier and had lived in this area for the past forty four years. Mr. Trancygier was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He graduated from Florida State University where he played football for four years and met his wife, Sandra Sherman Trancygier. He played football for three years in the Canadian Football League and was employed with Container Service Corporation.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Rusty and Kim Trancygier; his daughter, Kim Trancygier; grandsons, Benjamin Edward Trancygier and Petyon Russell Trancygier all of Valdosta, his brother and sister in law, Tommy and Pat Trancygier of Detroit, MI; his sister and brother in law, Joann and Sonny Szczechowski of Juliet Springs, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Trancygier.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
