Edward Joseph Welsch

Edward J. Welsch, 75, of Valdosta, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on February 8, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Anna Welsch. Mr. Welsch was retired from the United States Air Force and civil service. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, was a Mason and a Eucharistic Minister.

Mr. Welsch is survived by his wife, Patricia Welsch, one daughter, Tammy Welsch Denley of Valdosta, one son, Jimmy Welsch of Venice, FL, one son in law, Sean Denley of Valdosta, grandchildren, William McNabb and Daniel J. Roberts of Valdosta, Kiley Welsch and Tyler Welsch of Venice, FL, two great granddaughters, Aubrey Acker of Venice, FL and Lorelai Roberts of Ringgold, GA.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010, at three thirty p. m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. The family will receive friends from six thirty p. m. until eight p. m. Friday at the church.
