Edward Eugene Stubbs

Edward Eugene Stubbs, 74, of Pinetta, Florida died on Monday, May 5, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 2, 1940 to the late James Prentice and Paulina Prine Stubbs. He was retired from the State of Florida as a track judge with the gaming division. Mr. Stubbs has been a resident of Pinetta since 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Stubbs of Pinetta, Florida; a daughter, Shawn Gibbons of Lake Park; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Michael Risk of Orlando, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Stubbs of Chatam, Georgia; grandson, Patrick Meyers of Chicago, Illinois; three granddaughters, Elizabeth MacDonald of Orlando, Elizabeth Grace Gibbons of Pinetta, and Erica Frasier of San Antonio, Texas; three grandsons, Christopher Stubbs of San Diego, California, Jed Gibbons and Bill Gibbons both of Lake Park; two great-granddaughters, Autumn Meyers of Chicago, Illinois and Keira Frasier of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Gloria Lanier of Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Stubbs.
