Edward A. Casteloes

Edward A. Casteloes, 71, of Valdosta died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Smith Northview Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1938 in Moultrie to the late Joseph B and Huldah Williams Casteloes and had lived in Valdosta for twenty seven years. Mr. Casteloes was a retired salesman with Lipton Foods Inc. and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Casteloes of Tucson, AZ., two sons, Edward A. Casteloes, Jr. of Stamford, England and Stephen V. Casteloes of Tucson, AZ., his granddaughter, Annabella Casteloes of Stamford, England, his brother, Willie B. Casteloes of Moultrie and his sister, Mary Casteloes Pickles of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 12:10p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dan O’Connell officiating.
