Edna L. Sirmans

Edna L. Sirmans, 79, of Cecil, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at Lakehaven Nursing Home in Valdosta. She was born on April 22, 1925 in Baxley, GA to the late Monroe and Annie Bell Moody. Mrs. Sirmans was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Martha and Henry Thrailkill of Fayetteville, GA, Barbara and Doyle Whittemore of Dunwoody, GA, one son, Kenneth Sirmans of Cecil, GA, three grandchildren, Jason Sirmans, Michelle Brooks and Eric Brooks, one great granddaughter, Ariel Boyd, one great grandson, Logan Brooks, one brother, Billy, four sisters, Betty, Lafaye, Kathrine and Cathy, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sirmans is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Buran Sirmans, Sr. and one son, Tommy Sirmans.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 15, 2004 at eleven a. m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Roscoe Bennett and Reverend Ike Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery. She will lie in state for one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
