Edna Eyleen Lawson, 88, of Adel and formerly of Hahira, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Smith Northview Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1924 in Morven, Brooks County, GA to the late Richard Ashley Lawson and Mdlle McGauley Lawson. Miss Lawson was a member of New Covenant Church in Valdosta.
She is survived by two nieces, Peggy Armstrong of Jacksonville, FL and Lynne Wilson of Huntsville, AL, one nephew, Dickie Elliott of Keystone Heights, FL, many cousins, great nieces and nephews and other relatives. Miss Lawson is preceded in death by her niece, Martha Massey of Jacksonville, FL.
A graveside memorial service and burial will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at two p. m. at Campground Cemetery near Morven with Pastor Jimmy Smith officiating. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
