Edgar Vizcarrondo, 51, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Langdale Hospice House. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 24, 1961, he was the son of Luz Delia Ortiz and the late Angel M. Vizcarrondo Matos. He was a Quality Maintenance Technician and a member of Heritage Church in Moultrie. Edgar deeply loved his Lord, Jesus Christ, his wife, family and friends. He used his many talents to help people including missions projects in construction and electrical work during Heritage Churchs' Mega Impact Week in Moultrie as well as in Santa Cruz, Honduras during the summer of 2010. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and ability to make people laugh!
Survivors are his wife, Debbie Manning Vizcarrondo of Valdosta; children, Jennifer Vizcarrondo , Edgar Vizcarrondo and Ivan Vizcarrondo of Puerto Rico, Hannah Farmer, Sarah Farmer, Elijah Farmer all of Valdosta, grandchildren, Alianette Panell Vizcarrondo, Yael Panell Vizcarrondo, Yuan Vizcarrondo; his mother, Luz Delia Ortiz of Puerto Rico; brothers, Angel Vizcarrondo of Orlando, Florida, Freddie Vizcarrondo of Puerto Rico and Luis Oscar Vizcarrondo of St. Cloud, Florida, and a wide extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Bowen and Mr. Ronnie Hesters will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. Donations may be made to the Edgar Vizcarrondo Memorial Fund c/o Ameris Bank.
