Earlene Sutton Allen

Earlene Sutton Allen, 81, of Valdosta died at her home on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Born in Hahira on August 29, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Sutton. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors are her daughters and son in law, Deborah Allen Lee and Billy Lee of Quitman, Brenda Allen Hudson and Terri Allen Ellis both of Valdosta; grandchildren, Ralph Royals and Tiffany May of Jacksonville, Florida, Alan and Megan Ellis of Hahira, Chris and Erica Ellis of Lake Park, Ashlie and Jonathan Stanley of Brunswick, Danielle Hudson, Joel Hudson both of Valdosta, and Amanda Lee of Quitman; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Allen, one sister and eight brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Chris McCain will officiate. Burial will follow at Wayfare Cemetery.
