Earl Wayne Cannady, Sr.

Earl Wayne Cannady, Sr., 63, of Valdosta died Friday, April 20, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 26, 1949 in Nashville, Georgia. Mr. Cannady was a self employed painter and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a well known musician in Nashville and Valdosta.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Geiger-Whitehead Cannady of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, Earl Wayne, Jr. and Cynthia Cannady of Valdosta, daughter, Monifea Dickerson and her children of Jackson, Fla., one sister and brother in law, Vivian and Roger Waters of Thomasville, brother and sister in law, Ronnie and Stephanie Cannady of Statenville, stepmother, Elsie Cannady of Valdosta, grandchildren, Steven, Jeremy, Jayda Cannaday, nephews, Christopher Waters and Tony Waters both of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his father, William Horace Cannady.
