Duane Hauge

July 19, 1930 — January 8, 2020

Duane Hauge, 89, of Hahira died Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Langdale Hospice. He was born on July 19, 1930 in Winnebago, Iowa to the late Manter and Alma Olson Hauge. Mr. Hauge was an electronics technician and worked for Boeing thirty six years. He enjoyed spending time on the family farm during the summer in Iowa. Mr. Hauge was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He served from 1951-1954 in the United States Navy and attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
Mr. Hauge is survived by his wife of fifty eight years, Dorothy Hauge of Hahira, two daughters and son in law, Connie and Mike DiMarco of Ray City and Linda Moore of Hahira, three grandchildren, Holly Stiles (Chris) of Munhall, PA, Rhys Spencer and Sean Spencer of Ray City, two great grandchildren, Tyler VanHorn and Lincoln Stiles of Munhall, PA, brother, Robert Hauge of Pasco, WA, sister, Lila McMillan of Bellevue, WA, nephew, Scott McMillan, niece, Leigh Ann McMillan and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at eleven a. m. at Messiah Lutheran Church with Reverend Frank Kinast, Jr. and Reverend Richard Pieplow. Burial will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery near Nashville, GA at three p. m. The family will receive friends from ten a.m. until eleven a. m. Monday at the church.
