Doyster M. Tyler Jr.

Doyster M. Tyler, Jr., 43, died on February 23, 2006, at his residence in Valdosta. Born in Valdosta on October 5, 1962, he was the son of Rebecca Ezell Tyler and the late Doyster Tyler, Sr. Mr. Tyler had worked in retail and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors are his mother, a brother and sister in law, Joseph R. and Julie Tyler, sisters, Diane Wiese and Karen Pleasant, grandmother, Jessie Tyler Smith all of Valdosta, nieces and nephews, Ashley Wiese, Casey Glover, Chrissy Hall of Valdosta, Roy Pleasant of Peachtree City, Stephen Ezell and Justin Wiese of Valdosta; great nieces, Kelsey and Peyton, aunts and uncles, Oweda and Edward Williams of Valdosta, J.R. and Francis Tyler of Lakeland, Florida, Kathleen and Gene Holloway of Autryville, North Carolina, Lucy Pleasant of Stedman, North Carolina, Ethel Lockamy of Autryville, North Carolina. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Tyler Ezell and his grandparents, Joseph Riley Tyler and James K. and Ronia Ezell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Wisehart and Pastor Mickey Wisehart will officiate.
