Douglas Richard (Doug) Galloway

Douglas Richard (Doug) Galloway, 62, of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a four wheeler accident. He was born on October 18, 1950 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to the late John Franklin and Catherine Betty Wise Galloway and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mr. Galloway was retired from Bayliner/Regal Marine and was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed the computer especially words with friends, doing repair work and playing practical jokes.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Galloway of Valdosta, his daughter and son in law, Catherine Denise and Darryl Sloan of Valdosta, stepgrandson, Andrew Sloan of McDonough, two sisters, Bobbie Jean Lanier of Charlotte, NC and Sandra Jo Willis of Valdosta, two sisters in law and brothers in law, Paula and Phil Corte of Venice, FL, Jo and Don Jordan of Hahira, several nieces and nephews.
