Dorothy Tucker Weldon

DOROTHY TUCKER WELDON, 78, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and formerly of Lowndes County died Monday, November 20, 2006 at her home. She was born on October 26, 1928 in Lowndes County to the late Jessie and Mildred Durden Tucker and had lived most of her life Lowndes County before moving to Pigeon Forge several years ago. Mrs. Weldon was a member of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, William H. (Bill) Weldon of Pigeon Forge, TN., one son and daughter in law, Billy D. (Don) and Donna Adams Weldon of Twin Lakes, two daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Freddy Dean, Jackie and Terry Roberts all of Pigeon Forge, TN., six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, thee brothers and sisters in law, John and Christine Tucker of Eatonton, Ga., Gene and Verna Tucker of Hahira, Raymond and Charlene Tucker of Dunn, NC., two sisters and brothers in law, Velma and Carol Tyler of Hahira and Catherine and C. J. King of Helen, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 25, 2006 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Owen and Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
