Dorothy Mcquitty Thompson

Dorothy McQuitty Thompson, 101, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on August 24, 1906 in Hillsboro, OH to the late Larry Andrew & Anna Kathryn King McQuitty, she had lived in this area since 1957. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and had worked in public relations with South Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by a niece, June Auvil of Middleton, OH, and a few close friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Thompson and her son, Larry Carl Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007, at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Rev. V.L. Daughtery will officiate. Carson McLane Funeral Home
