Dorothy "Dot" Lloyd

Dorothy “Dot” Lloyd, 83, of Valdosta died at Lakehaven Nursing Home on Thursday, June 21, 2007. Born in 1924, in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late Rachel Nobles and Ronald Houston Greene.
She had made her home in Valdosta for the past 53 years and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Beverly and Raymond Burch of Sylvester, sons and daughters in law, Robert, Jr. and Sarah Lloyd of Valdosta, David and Nicky Lloyd of Jacksonville, Florida; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; sister, Hettie Jean Spriggs of Valdosta, brother, Houston Wesley Greene of Valdosta and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lloyd Sr., and Paul Johnson, a son, Terry Johnson, grandsons, Stephen Johnson and Jacob Lloyd and a sister, Edith Murray.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. Reverend Brian Sayre will officiate.
