Dorothy Diane Hall

Dorothy Diane Hall, 83, of Valdosta, died on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Lake Park at the home of her daughter. Born in Lowndes County on August 5, 1930, to the late Walter D. Mullis and the late Lillian M. Mullis, she was a Valdosta resident for many years. She was the widow of the late Roy Leon Hall who died in 1985. Mrs. Hall was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and childcare provider. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Nancy K. Boatwright of Lake Park, Anna E ( Rocky) Spivey of Valdosta and Diane (Mark) Trupia of Lake Park; three sons, Roy L. (Alice) Hall, Tony L. (Pam) Hall of Valdosta and George W. Hall of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Roy L. Jr., (Jenny) Hall of Fernandina Beach, Florida, W. Shannon (Jessica) Hall of Naylor, Melanie C. (Shannon) Corbitt of Fairview , Oklahoma, Don Boatwright of Jacksonville, Florida, Bernie (Heidi) Hall of Thomasville, R. Brandon Spivey, Travis L. Spivey, Ridge L. Spivey all of Valdosta, and Natasha M. (Greg) Wall of Kingsland; ten greatgrandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Shannon Corbitt, Ashlee Hall, Gage Coleman, Shelby Hall, Braxton Hall, Landon Hall, Addison G. Hall, Haylee M. Wall, and Aubryn Spivey; one great great grandchild, Atlee D. Collins; three sisters, Betty (Charles) McClellan, Reba Duggan, Geraldine Roberts all of Valdosta; and a close family friend, Ann LaRosa of Lake Park.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral on Monday, February 10, 2014. Reverend A. M. Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery.
