Doris Forehand Chaney

DORIS FOREHAND CHANEY, 86, of Hahira died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Smith Northview Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1922 in Thomaston to the late E. Carl and Carrie Ingram Forehand and had lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Chaney was a Baptist.

Survivors include her children and spouses, James Larry and Jan Marie Chaney of Hahira, Judy and Danny Michaels of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Mitchell Chaney of Nashville and Kelvin and Martha Chaney of Hahira, 8-grandchildren, 8-great grandchildren, one sister, Nelda Livingston of Florida and a brother, Ernie Forehand of Tifton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Chaney.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Monday, January 7, 2008 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating.
