Doris Elma Reddick

January 22, 1918 — February 13, 2009

Doris Reddick, 91, of Valdosta, died on Friday, February 13, 2009, at LakeHaven Nursing Home. Born in Roper, Kansas, on January 22, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Ethel O'Brien Lamb. She was employed as a Bookkeeper with J.C Penney's, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the India Harris Friendship Sunday School Class.

Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Sylvia and Bill Folsom of Lake Park; granddaughters, Lynn Folsom of Valdosta, Leslie Folsom of Seattle, Washington; sister in law, Syble Lamb of Jacksonville, Florida; brother in law and sister in law, George and Ruth Smith of Valdosta. Mrs. Reddick was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Reddick and her brother, Kenneth Lamb.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend Thomas Mason, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis.
