Doris A. Kiefer, 72, of Valdosta, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at her residence. She was born on January 26, 1933 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Arthur and Clara Lyons Andrews. Mrs. Kiefer was a homemaker, a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and the Alzheimers Support Group.
She is survived by her husband, Emory L. Kiefer of Valdosta, three daughters and two sons in law, Karen Maynard of Lake Park, Cheryl and Jean Baker of Deltona, FL and Mandy and Phil Painter of Lake Park, one son and daughter in law, Daryl and Pat Kiefer of Lake Park, grandchildren, Christy (Michael) Pavel, Tim Ozley, John Cowell, Jr., Jessica Freeman, Stacy Freeman, Chad Freeman, Rodney (Jamie) Ozley, Paula (Paul)Lovejoy, Greg (Chris) Douglas, Blair Baker and Sandy Baker, eleven great grandchildren, numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p. m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Alzheimers Day Care Program, 1901 N.
