Donna Mann Brown

Donna Mann Brown, 85, of Lake Park, died on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born on May 21, 1929 in St. Cloud, Florida to the late Benjamin Moyer and Leola Lemons Mann and has been a resident of Lake Park since 1960. She was a retired bank teller with Hamilton County Bank in Jasper, Florida and was of the Church of Christ faith. Mrs. Brown loved to cook and had an outgoing personality. She loved being around people and it was said that she never met a stranger.

Survivors include her daughter, Kay Brown Williams, and a grandson and his wife, Jay and Cathy Williams all of Lake Park; a sister and brother-in-law, Celest and Harold Dowdy of Jacksonville, Florida and a brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Pat Mann of Dasher; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pearce Brown; a son, Curtis Pearce Brown; two infant sons; a brother, Bud Mann and a sister, Lula Mae Campbell.

A graveside service for Donna Mann Brown is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Carter Cemetery in Echols County with Rev. Leroy Mead officiating.
