Donald Wilson Tyree

Donald Wilson Tyree, 77, of Valdosta died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on April 8, 1938 in Fort Myers, FL to the late Wilson Homer Tyree and Thelma Touchton Tyree. Donald Wilson Tyree was retired from the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Louise Tyree of Valdosta, two sons, David Wilson Tyree (Sharon) of Valdosta and Donald Larry Tyree of Atlanta, one daughter, Lisa Tyree Bruneau (Teresa Mintz) of Ray City, one granddaughter, Senior Airmen Christina Bruneau of Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, sister, Wanda Smith (Cody) of Tabor City, NC, sister in law, Jo Tyree of Loris, SC., step grandchildren, Kimberly Lynne Wilson (Josh), Michael Combass, Nicholaus Mintz, Brandie Griner (Stephen), Jacob Mintz (Rebecca), step great grandchildren, Dakota Fulghum, Austin Wilson, Izaiah Eannottie, Brandon Griner, Emma Griner and Sawyer Mintz, special cousins, Susan Kay Grooms of Valdosta and Virginia Lesley of Valrico, FL. Mr. Tyree is predeceased by his grandson, Richard Bruneau, two brothers, Michael Lesley Tyree and Phillip Wayne Tyree and half brother, Ronald Miller.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 at five thirty p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Jim Schappaugh will officiate. The family will receive friends until seven thirty p. m. after the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603.
