Donald L. Stone

Donald L. Stone, 60, of Lake Park, went home to the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2019 following a brief illness. He had been at the Langdale Hospice House and was surrounded by his family. He was born on February 7, 1959 in Clovis, New Mexico to the late John H. and Darlene Kraclet Stone and retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force following twenty three years of dedicated service to our country. He was currently employed with Precision Industries as a night production manager. Spending time with his family was very important to Don, and it was well known that his children and grandchildren were his world. Don has been involved with many community activities over the years including coaching little league baseball, serving as Cub Scout Cub Master and most recently selflessly giving of his time serving along with his First Baptist Church of Lake Park family.
He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Rose Stone of Lake Park; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Loretta Stone of Six Mile, South Carolina; his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Erik McClellan of Mims, Florida; his grandchildren, Andrew Farace of Mims, Florida and Megan Stone of Six Mile, South Carolina; a sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Carl Patterson of Wyoming, Delaware; a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Sue Stone of Harrington, Delaware, and a brother, John W. Stone of Citrus Heights, California. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexia Hope McClellan, and two sisters, Kathy Scarboro and Donna Stone.
Services for Donald L. Stone will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Lake Park Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Dawson officiating.
