Don Dines

Don Dines, 68, of Valdosta died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Langdale Hospice House. Born in Danville, IL on June 18, 1939, he was the son of the late Ralph Alvin and Ercel Mildred Watson Dines. His favorite pastime was working. He started his garage (Don’s Garage) in 1982 on Cedar Hill Dr, which he eventually turned over to his son. He also transported heavy equipment and salvage vehicles for several years.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Donna Dines of Valdosta; sons, Chuck Dines of Valdosta and Donnie Dines of Danville, IL; 2 grandsons, Joshua Dines and Zachery Dines both of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Henry Clapp; sister, Ruth Patton; brother, Ralph Dines; sister, Beverly Mills all of Danville, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Larry Stienbaugh of Bismark, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Max and Sue Dines; sister, Carolyn Pichon; twin brother, Ronald Dines; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jack Smith all of Danville, IL. Mr. Dines was preceded in death by his brothers, William Dines, Larry Dines and Gerald Wendall Dines.

Funeral services form Mr. Dines will be held on Monday in Danville, IL. Sunset Funeral Home in Danville is in charge of the services.
