Don Crum

Don Crum, 54, of Valdosta died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 23, 1954 in Valdosta to the late C. A. and Stella Rouse Crum and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mr. Crum was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and employed with the Department of Corrections State Prison. He loved hunting, fishing, taking care of the farm and going to his sister, Montine�s for Sunday meals.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Courtney and Thomas Matthews of Valdosta, four sisters and brothers in law, Montine and Gary Hall of Jennings/Valdosta, Sylvia and Winston Shaw, Maxine and Tony DeGange, Deloris and David Oliver all of Valdosta, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Corinth Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cannington and Rev. Tom Ray Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
