DOLORES CRIBB, 78, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Atkinson County on July 30, 1930, a daughter of the late Yancy and Evelyn James Sears. She was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Cribb of Valdosta; three daughters, Dale Cofield and husband Ronnie of Valdosta, Pat Brown and husband Greg of Valdosta, and Robin Cassotta of Lake Park; one son, Bill Cribb of Valdosta; nine grandchildren, Kortni, Tripp and Justin Cofield, Patrick and Rebecca Brown, Ashley and Amanda Cassotta, and Ceighley and Lawson Cribb; one sister, Helen Joiner and husband Harold of Fayetteville; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Herman Sears, and by a sister, Mable Baldwin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, October 9, 2008, in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
